Use the rotors from a FJ60. You will need the larger calipers too (the vented rotors are thicker)

You keep the housing (hub) that the bearings go into, so if your bearings are good, pack with grease and re-install.

The calipers I used (on my fj40) were from a 94 4Runner (I had to cut the backing plates to make them fit). You could use the calipers from the FJ60. I don't think they would require the trimming

yea i realized the hub is removable after i posted.. dee dee dee!!

i have calipers from an 89 v6 ifs rig. i just need to know what year fj or what exact vehicle , year and all, to tell the dumb guy at the parts store to get me the rotors for.

i have the backing plate eliminator so i dont have t worry about that, my only worry is i may need a spacer but im getting new wheels and tires soon anyways.

and i just found this....

The FJ60/62 all used the same rotor. 1983-1990(?) Same one as the 81 FJ40

P.S. I did need wheel spacers.... use red locktite and retorque as directed for peace of mind.

very good write up, thanks alot.. i didnt know the 92 v6 was different, i have been on advanced auto parts' website crossing part numbers and i noticed they were all the same number on the l4 and the v6 up to 91 i was thinking it was a mistake or something. so if anybody needs calipers for the conversion use a 92 up v6 caliper with the rotors from a 81-90 land cruiser. band a 94 non abs 4 runner master cyl.... viola...!! guess i should have searched.
