brake upgrade on 1st gen runner?
I've got an '85 4runner on 33x12.50R15's, newly installed 22re, with stock 4.10 gearing and a bad brake booster.
I already have a toyota dual brake booster, gm 1" master cylinder with toyota adapter, an adjustable brake proportioning valve and steel braided brake lines for an upgrade. I also have front calipers and rotors from a '95 T100 4wd.
My question is if the calipers and rotors I already have will work on my '85 4runner's solid axle or will I need a caliper bracket, wheel spacers, and/or larger wheels to clear the larger brakes or will they bolt right up?

Probably need some wheel spacers to clear the bigger calipers or do a little grinding.
Why would you want to put GM on a Toyota? Get a FJ80 MC. You need sfa vented rotors and V6 IFS calipers.
Tons of info on Pirate and all over the place on this upgrade.

thanks for the replies.
I pulled a wheel off and compared the bolt pattern and size of the rotors. The bolt pattern on the rotors that I had was something like 6 x 5.0", so no biggie. I ordered some '85 landcruiser front rotors from advance auto for 23 bux each
