Bolt size on heater hose connecting to back of water pump

I had a guy help me put my engine back together and we managed to lose the bolts that attach the (what appears to be) metal heater hose that goes into the back of the water pump. Any ideas on what size bolts these are?
(The bolt that's in it in the pictures doesn't fit.)
It's sprayed coolant everywhere when I tried to start it.

Thanks!

M8x1.25 not sure about the length 20 -25mm

There is either a gasket or o ring that goes on there to seal it. Missing that it will leak
