Avoiding a lift kit
If I were to try to assemble all the pieces that I need individually roughly how much would it cost in to compile a lift kit for any given in height for my pickup. Is there a method of both raising and increasing the weight load capacity?

It really depends on what you can actually get the initial items you're looking for, dollar wise. I'd start with lifting the rear with chevy 63s, no blocks and a chevy 63 swap/shackle kit from Ruffstuff or Sky Manufacturing.

I'm running 63s in back with a 1" block. Springs came out of 3/4 4wd and rocking overload spring. My buddy did chevy lift springs. In hind sight i think his route was better as i get axle wrap pretty bad on climbs with throttle.
