Automatic trans questions...

Let me preface this by saying when I got this truck the radiator did not have trans line connections and only after I got a good radiator with trans hookups did I start looking into this:

So IMO, the trans line on the right side should be run to the radiator [blue arrow] but there is a wicked bend in the metal part of the trans line [green arrow] If I bend the metal line back by hand I assume there is a chance it can break? Am I missing some part here? When I got the truck the trans line was looped back onto itself [WTF] thats why it was bent to begin with. Any suggestions short of swapping a 5-speed in?

a 5 speed is a difficult swap, if you are not mechanically inclined I would have someone else do it. As for that tranny cooler line I would get a new hose so that you don't risk breaking it and having a leak.

i know that my HD radiator has 2 trans hookups(company just makes ever radiator auto-compatible) and at least one of them has a 90* bend in it.
