yea at first i really didnt think it was going to be big enuf. but I found a bunch of people on the TG forum that use this setup and the 35s should be good. i have no prob beating the fenders in lol this is a trail truck/street truck and in NC were i live you can pritty much drive anything on the street lol.

to put it in prospective im running 5" springs from all pro but ive taken 2 packs out of the rear to lower it and give it a softer feel and i belive I took one pack out of the front. I did move it forward about 1 1/4" which is a nice thing to do but may require you to move the steering box forward a little bit. Really easy to do with the right skills and a little bit of plate and some time (plates for plating the frame to reinforce were the steering box bolts on.) So my lift is more like 3.5 to 4 ide say and the 39s fit great. aside from a little trimming and pounding. easy enough Youll be golden with that kit and really like it I think. good choise not going bigger IMO

yea i hate when the trucks are to big. also you could prob answer this Q for me when i do my Histeer next month how do i make my steering column longer for the steering box could i use d bar or will the stock one work and i just have to add xtra. ive tryed searching but really couldn't find anything on this for some reason also what do you think about this. 4.88's front and rear and twin tcases with 4.7 in the rear case only reason for 4.88 is for on the street when i do take it out. or will the 5.29's be alright up to 65mph. its mostly around town driving from trail to trail

You may want the 5.29's but really theres so much debate on whats gonna be perfect for you. May want a few others opinions on that. Im actualy thinkin about going back to like 410s in a bit cause im gonna start breaking pinion heads off but then again im running dual cases, locked F/R and a chevy 4.3.
As for the steering heres a what I did
I used a piece of solid round stock
Cut the original steering shaftwere it botls to the steering box to retain original conection point.
I put the round bar in a metal lathe and drilled out a little bit so that the old steering shaft could slide fit into it. then fully welded the bar. Hope that makes sence I suck as describing things lol. Check out my build threads if you havent already. lots of good info on there, these pics are from here https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f88/...06/index3.html
