After spring relocation, bump stops no longer align
1985 4Runner, 2 inch OME lift, 33x10.5x15 tires
So, I got tired of my tires rubbing the firewall fender at full turn and decided to get the AllPro relocation plates. I moved my axle forward only 3/4 inch but the stock bump stops that attach to the top of the spring no longer align with where the ubolts connect to the bottom ubolt plate. It makes sense that it no longer aligns but how do I correct this? I was thinking of going to a machine shop and having them drill a new hole in the bottom of the bump stop plate to align with the correction plate but has anyone run into this and what did they do to correct it? I want to try and keep this as stock as possible.
Thanks,
JARED
