85/87 Transmission {5speed} swap ?
It's been a while!
Here's what I've got, An 83 Toy 4x4 WITH a 1985 22R ENGINE
Sounds like syncro going out in tranny {G52 I believe}. I have an extra Tranny {W56} complete with bell housing and transfer case from an 87 4Runner {22RE} .
I know the shifters for Tranny and Transfer case are different BUT don't know if the bell housing and rear Tranny mounts from 87 would be a direct bolt on ?
Never done this one before so before I start to tussle with "that whale" I thought I'd ask .
