to fit 33x 12.50 on an 84 do you put a special offset rim on to make clearence between tire and frame or some kind of spacer also how wide of a rim do i need to put the 12.50 wide tires on?

8" wide wheel is typical. Stock backspacing is 3-3/8", go for something like 2.5" or so and maybe add a spacer if needed, depends on where your steering stops are set up front and how flexible the rear suspension is in back. Can also install a wider '86+ rear axle in back instead of spacers.
