84 sr5 pickup brake problems
I have a 1984 toyota pickup sr5 22r and i recently lost my front brakes. I have bled them multiple times and replaced the master cylinder. i bench bled the master cylinder and still no change. what else can it be? When i lost them i had the truck stuck in the woods for a few days and tore one of the boots on the piston in the brake caliper so i replaced the whole caliper with a new one.

I did bleed the lspv a couple times but the first time there was a lot of sediment crap in it it actually stained my garage floor hahah I'll bleed it when I get up today (night worker) so I'll let yall know thanks for the replies

its weird that you would lose front brakes. id take all the lines off the master and the calipers/drums. blow air thru them get all the ˟˟˟˟ out of them and get new fluid. usually what happens is youll lose rear brakes cause if you have sediment in the lines and it clogs up the lpsv or whatever will sent the fluid back to the front pass tire itll feel like your losing brakes but it just moves the fluid around the system. id blow the lines out remove the lpsv (or whatever) and just take a hard line back to the rear axle so you have 2 lines up front and 2 lines in the rear.

Still not getting them to bleed ??
Perhaps a poor connection from replacing the calipers all it takes is dirt
might be a bad bleeder valve drawing air in.
Have the calipers on correct ?? Bleeder at the top??

Well update I deleted the lspv with a brand new direct line to the axle. bled them again and still no front brakes on either side they will stop a spinning tire but you can still turn the tire by hand with not much pressure. And I only had to replace the one caliper but they are both acting the same

Well I had a doh moment the caliper I installed had the bleeder valve on the bottom side of the caliper so it wouldn't let all the air out once I switched it out I got it all rebled and bam I'm wheeling again
