84 22r hose attachment help needed
Just about ready to hook up vacuum hoses and fuel lines after a head gasket job, and I could really use some help and advice. I totally removed all the smog equipment, and just need to attach whatever might be necessary to get the truck running again.
I'd be very grateful if anyoneone could identify the various ports labeled in the attached photo....indicating whether they can/should be plugged or, if they're necessary, where lines from the ports should go.
Since I can't attach more than on photo per post (problem with my ipad), i am showing the reverse side in the next post.....

First pic:
A) carburetor bowl vent. Hose goes to charcoal canister. Part of emissions.
B) & C) I believe these connect to the vacuum advance on the distributor via the vacuum metal lines. One port is above the throttle plate, one below it.
D) & E) I believe these are vacuum sources for the various carburetor controls. Or for the EGR.
Second Pic:
F) Fuel source, need that.
G) I believe that is the vacuum source for the choke remover and the acceleration pump (AAP). Both are controlled by the same bi-metal vacuum switch valve (BVSV) valve. When the coolant is cold, vacuum goes to the AAP to aid in acceleration on a cold engine, when the coolant is hot, vacuum is pulled away from it and routes vacuum to remove a the choke mechanism.
H) Part of choke breaker. It open the choke slightly after start up.
I) PCV valve port.
Your missed a couple ports:
Second Pic:
Below "F" is the port for the acceleration pump. Need that.
Below "H" is the choke pull off. It is controlled via the vacuum switch valve on a small coolant housing bolted independently to the block in the middle of the intake manifold.

You can google emissions diagrams on google and there are 3: California, federal, and Canada. Your intake manifold has some plugs that are normally ports for vacuum lines. If you google "22r de smog" there is a write up and the the guy posted the emissions diagrams in the thread and it's a yotatech article. It should be really helpful.
