22re, EFI fuse does not clear TPS code 7 - Help

Hi I have a 1985 Toyota Motorhome 22re engine. I have tested all wires(Wiggled/shook) for continuity. Tested voltage/ohms per Fact manual. Tested TPS.All OK. Why doesn't the code clear when I remove the EFI fuse? Ignition is off, jumper is off. I even d/c the battery for 5 min, still the code 7. One time out of five for no apparent reason, the code will clear though. Then I test drive and in 3 miles it appears again. and I try and can't clear it. It cleared twice in the few hours I spent. I Tried an old TPS no change. I put back the 10 amp A/c fuse I had removed awhile ago and the code cleared. But it was BS cause after the code came back in a drive test it wouln't clear.

I noticed if I left the TPS conn d/c, code 11 appeared immediately. So this code 7 is appearing immediately after I clear all codes with the EFI fuse. What would cause this ? Anybody have an idea? Thanks for your help. Pete

Leaving EFI fuse out for 15 mins worked!!!

Thanks Elton, What a relief.

Luckly I have a friend at a boneyard that let me have a TPS for $10 and a ECU for $ 50 so I am not out that much. Pete

Look behind the kick panel on the driver side.

WOW, 5 year bump! LOL....

On the floor, by your left foot, NOT IN the door....rather, left of/down from the speaker, a fuse block is there. If you don't have the cover, google it on Ebay and you'll see the diagram of it(that's if you can't find it on Yotatech... Just saw it posted in a thread,...can't remember which, I follow many! lol) It should show you in the Chiltons a picture of that Kick Panel Fuse Block Cover.... Laying out which fuse is for which. It would be in the EFI section, I imagine?

I will snap one for you tomorrow, if you haven't figured it out yet, Duane
