22r to 22re Swap, wiring help.
First off, have searched, still searching and collecting info.
But i need some help with few bits.
ive got the pinout for my ECU (early 2 plug one)
i need to know where to connect each wire, Ive stripped harness down and have just the basic wires coming from the ECU. 22RE engines didn't come stock in the 80's trucks.
plug 1 18Pin

Second is there is a another plug that connects to the main engine loom, which to me seems complete seperate. so no splicing there. Im unsure what this plug is called, or where to find a diagram. half the wires go into the 2nd pplug for ECU and to some sensors. other half go elsewhere.
have included pic, plug im talking about is the square one.
thanks, and sorry if this is covered somewhere, i cant find it.

The 4runner and truck harness do vary a little bit. I am wondering if the plug you are talking about is for the fuel pump, tail light, and fuel guage connector at the tank. The pick ups harness runs under the seat and down on the frame. The 4 Runner, the fuel tank goes to the frame and the lights run inside the body. Which harness you using?
As I am reading this, you are sitcking a 22re harness in a first gen truck? (79-83)

sorry should have been more clear,
i have a 85 hilux, the 22re is from a Celica, i believe a 84 model.
im trying to pull all the related ECU wiring from the donor harness and make a seperate harness.
ive got it down to 2 sections now. One section is still on engine and covers injectors, temp sensor etc etc and plugs into the 12p section of ecu. the 18p plug, half the wires go to engine, other half i have no idea. i know i have to splice them into something but im unsure what as i cant find a diagram for that plug. ill take picture of wiring harness on motor when its not bad outside.

here is the wiring loom to Engine.
its self contained by the looks of it, and one plug goes to ecu, other goes to a plug near ecu. need to know what wires do what for it so i can wire it up to what ever it goes too!!

I have not used a Celica harness. I have done wiring swaps but am weak in the pin outs itself. Here is a thread I created on 22r- 22re swaps if it helps >>>> https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...4-88-a-278925/

So i think i got most of this sorted now,
just need a tad help with the diagram attached.
Unsure how i follow the diagram for Fc pin.. i can see it goes to AFM but where? just straight to the AFM pin Fc and the "fuel pump switch" is built into the AFM?

OK sorry to bump a old post
I'm doing the same swap and I'm struggling with a few of the wires
The pin 1 on the 18 pin connector is marked as N/S, all diagrams I find have it going to the o2 sensor
But then it should be marked with OX
From all the info I can find.
Can anyone help and tell me what the
N/S marking is and where it's meant to go
