ok so the other day i went to put my flashers on... they blinked twice and then stoped and my radio shut off... i replaced my flasher and the blinkers only worked on one side (drivers), so i put the old flasher back in and they both worked.... i drove the truck to the store and on the way the blinkers on the one side didnt work agian and my radio still doesnt work... i checked all fuses and connections for the radio but nothing was lose and no blown fuses...

any idea what is causeing my blinkers to act up and why my radio wont turn on??

 

Is it a stock radio install? Maybe they hooked it to the wrong + or - if it was aftermarket. Maybe the wires got so hot, with a jumped fuse, the insulation melted and is intermittently touching other wires.

Now that I think of it maybe when the flasher is off one of it's wires is grounded, then in use it is intermittently on (hot) then ground(off) repeatedly. Somehow the radios ground was connected to this wire. Could be?

 

check the ground wires behind the dashboard too.
