Wiring problems
Ive just recently bought a 79 and the wiring harness is completly botched together and I thats what I was thinking is causing my charing system issue. Replaced the alternator and regulator and still no charge. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can buy a complete harness any where or if your just good with wiring, let me know.
Thanks

Summit sells a Painless Wiring kit for the Land Cruiser which may get you close, but they aren't cheap.
If you could find a junkyard near you with similar vehicle with harness intact you could try that route. Otherwise your best bet is to get the correct schematic and start tracing the wires and making repairs.
It's time consuming to say the least but you'll be very familiar with it once it's done.
