Wheel Question

Fist, I know that this might not be the right section for this post, but I wanted the opinion of the experts on 1st gens.

I am looking to purchase some new wheels for my 82. I currently have good times (235 75 15) and want to keep my same times. I am not doing a full blown restoration of my truck but I want to make her look as nice as I can within a reasonable budget.

I love the look of the bullet hole rims and would live to stay under $100/rim. I am debating between the Ion Alloy 171 and 71 styles.

My question is, what offset should will work with my truck? My truck is currently stock. I know that I need 6 lug rims on a 5.5 pattern.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I think my polished sr5 alloys from my 88 pu, with 31x 10:50 Kelly safari tsr's would look good. (shameless plug).
I just bought some 3rd gen 5 spoke stars in 16" so I have to get new tires.

The Mickey Thompson classic 2's are Sharp.

Backspacing, so tires don't rub. SFA need less than IFS rigs. Google should point you in right direction.

Thanks for the help! I found a chart on google but wanted to double check it with the experts. I found a killer deal on a set of Mickey Thompson classic IIIs in eBay. $240 for the set.

Rim width plays a factor too. But if you stick with same size as you're currently running shouldn't cause any issues.

Sounds like a good deal, post some pics when you get them on the truck.
