Ouch, rough countrys r just that from what have heard. from some of the locals, around here where i live. thats why i went with Skyjacker. With the taperd spring. And i have to admit for a budget lift it rides pretty nice. and so far the riding style i have, the flex is not to bad either.

dude ... I'm sure glad your "listening" to the advice your getting !!!! whats the point of asking , if your not going to listen ?
put some weight on it .. sand bags , dumb bells .. heck a barrel full of water !!! .. what ever . you need ~ 300 LBS to "simulate" the original truck box .. then with a jack and pry bar , you should be able to "flip" the shackle , and they should be about verticle (untill they settle) .. BUT obviously , it wont last , because you can drive the truck with a barrel of water on there ! ... once you drive it , it should settle a bit more , correcting the shackle angle .
UNTILL YOU DO THIS ... YOU"LL NEVER FIX IT !!!!

heh, yeah I know. I'm just gonna wait to get the bed. I just dont want to leave people hanging, if someone replys to my thread I want them to know im listening and tell them what im doing atm.
I posted the pic to show what the prying w/o the bed has done. I'm gonna stack some lumber on it when I can but I havent had the time to do so yet.

i say you need about a 1 inch longer shackle that way it will push the frame up and your spring down a little bit...your truck will be about 1-2 inchs higher in the rear...try a longer shackle if it doesnt work than you can always return it...hope i helped...

Is there a possibility that the springs are turned the wrong way? Like they are longer from center to one end than the other? Weight is the only thing to do to get the springs to flatten out. I got a 3" RC kit but did not get the rear springs. Everything worked out great. It was pretty rough at the start but has settled in and is tolerable. It's a 4x4, it is supposed to be stiff, it ain't a Cadillac, however mine has the emblem on the hood.

To me it looks like the actual shackle mounts themselves have been moved towards the back of the truck, or it could be a newer frame which used longer rear springs from the factory.. or you installed them backwards.
Ive seen inverted shackles, but.. never that far, id think putting weight on it with them like that would just bind them up backwards.
