I didnt think that the RE heads were different than the R heads - at least not enought to make in "not run"... did ya ask enginebuilder?

Heya the machine shop here in Petersburg Va. has one. Pressure tested, straight. Reground or new valves depending on what it needed. These guys rock & do really good work. They also have quality gasket sets at good prices. They bought out a parts store and have loads of Felpro I think stuff. Let me know if I need to hook ya up.

the heads to the pre 85 engines are slightly taller there for the 22re heads will not fit a pre 85 22r but will fit a 85+ 22r. I have a pre 85 22r head that i had the valves all resurfaced and new springs and valve seals installed in and then realized it would not work because i have a 85+ 22r so if ur interested let me no.
