How do you fix this? Floor Rust and dented rockers panels
#3
Well body work is like not my strong point at all. And i notice that it pulled the bottom of the fenders intowards the doors. And the Drivers door rubs the fender when it opens. So i'm like concerned with alignment. I want it to look right so i wasn't sure how to tackle it.

Mostly surface rust in these areas not too bad. Was just worried about the extent of the dent... >_<
Only thing about the passenger side is that right inside the door on the floor board under the dash in that corner about a square foot of a hole is there from the rusted out floor board...

your nerf bars are not rocksliders..even rock sliders need to be mounted a little ways away from the frame
looking at that rust on your truck I would also be taking a look at your front cab mounts to make sure they aren't toast...if the cab mounts are gone the cab is gonna settle...
you pic shows typical 1st Gen cab rust...that accounts for half your nerf bar episode..

Yea i know the truck has been beat to hell. But I've only had it since December and only drove it once. The PO is the one who did all the damage Q_Q
I'm trying to fix everything he didn't...
And yea the nerf bars are coming off for sure.
The drivers side in the same area has a little formation but not anything like the passager side.
Imma get some better pics tommarrow.
Cab mounts... The floor board on that passenger side is gone and i can see the bolt and mount thats on the fram throught the floor... the bolt is just about wilthered away... I'll have to get a better pic... the bracket on the frame holding the mount and mount are still kinda there but the bolt and where it used to be connected to the cab is kinda gone..
Cab settle? >_<
I hope not...

here is the driverside floor of my truck....leaking windshield and found 3 layers of carpet that was an awesome spong
the mount itself was in awesome shape, a buddy of mine fixed the floor for me, wish that he had pulled the bolt & washer instead of welding over the washer but the work was free so can't complain too much:
I don't have a pic of what he added to help support the floor underneath with the mount..

what we did to fix my dads floor rust in his 87 4runner was we had a roof from a honda civic and cut peices out, but our holes wernt on body mounts or as big as yours. you could get the floor out of a newer 4runner or pickup and patch the pecies in. at least you dont have rust where your computer is because thats what happend with my dads.

ouch..that rust is pretty bad. Like you said finding a donor floor panel is hard. Your's almost warrants a cab swap.
The guy that did my work said it was kind of a pain in the butt. He cut out as much of the junk steel as he could and kind of molded the patch to fit...persuaded by a Big hammer
your frame mounts and the majority of the cab mounts seem to be in ok shape. along the cap mouonts maybe add some 1.5" angle to help support the missing material. gonna be a pain to weld but it will give some support to the floor.

Thanks for the input guys. Imma get it running and ride around to a few friends of mine and see what will or will not do =D
I am going to a junk yard tomarrow with a few old yotas. I might see if theres possible floor boards.
