Beautiful '80 you have there. Funny you asked about my tire size, as I was curious to yours. I see you went with 33" MT's which I considered as I had that's size on my Tacoma. But I decided to stick with 31's to keep more of the "stock" look. May I ask are those 33's under a stock lift?

After a complete tune-up, plugs, wires, cap, rotar, oil and filter. Had to do it... new GT Grant.
What-up everyone! New here to Yotatech, but not Yota’s. Bought my first ’82 pickup back in ’85, drove it to the ground until 2000. Sold it for what was left of it’s very used/abused condition. Bought a brand new Tacoma in ’03, drove it for 10 years and recently sold it to relive my youth. After months of searching for the right truck I came home with an ’83 un-refurbished other than after market seats and new carpeting. The dash, door panels, headliner and paint are all original. 177K miles on original 22R with 30K on a rebuild.
Lovin’ being back in the 1st Gen of things! I’ll be checkin’ back soon.

Haha! Sorry, don't mean to be funny when you're not, but I had 33" MT's on my Tacoma and I know where you're coming from. As for the 31" AT's on my '83? No regrets, dig the look and the ride. If you go this direction, I'm really looking forward to seeing your truck with this set up.

I have 31" Falken WildPeaks on my '83 Pickup and 33" Wildpeaks on my 2005 Tundra DC. I LOVE THEM! Quiet and VERY grippy on the road, great on the beach and I have yet to get stuck in the mud or on my hunting trails. I would highly recommend them for the daily driver that likes to get into a little trouble off the road. Not to mention, they are very economical. I don't think you could come close to finding a better tire for the buck.

I hope you ordered them from discounttiredirect.com They are the cheapest place to get those tires. PLUS they are the exclusive seller of the Falken Rocky Mountain ATS which is the EXACT same tire as the Wild Peak, but at a cheaper price. I actually have the Rocky Moutains on my Tundra and compared them directly to the Wild Peaks on my Pickup and I see no difference. The specs are all the same too. Just an FYI

Glad to help! It's good to hear that you went to the right place to buy them. That's the same size that I have on my Pickup, they fit it well and look pretty good. I think you'll be impressed with them.
On another note, I'm flying to Green Bay to watch the Packers beat the Lions on SNF December 9th. I'd like to try to see that truck of your's while I'm up there. We've got to pick somebody up in Appleton on the way from MKE and I think that's right near Greenville.
