My wives grandfather who I bought it from got them free when he bought the warn winch a few days after buying the truck brand new. He had them put in the same time as
the winch and bumper. I have the originals that were only on the truck for five days

I saw a way cool truck earlier today had the tan paint with the brown and orange stripes but this one had a bird on the door in the stripe. I think it was a goose or a duck. Tried to find out more about it but just ended up with stuff about bird poop ruining paint. Anybody seen these graphics before?

My 1981 toyota pickup, it's got a sweet camper as you can tell, 33x12.5 Goodyear duratracs, 22r, weber 32/36, rear add a leafs, front shackles, and mostly stock after that.

im new to to the yota thang and 4x4 to say the least, I knew i wanted a older smaller truck and found this.. i showed the seller 600.00 in cash and she was mine!! did i do good? not many yotas out here to compare too??

from what you can see, i would say you did swell! ust a few miscellaneous parts a local pull and save yard would have and your well on your way.

little rough since its been siting for the last 7 years.. but does pull pretty good.. needs a tune up for sure..

fixed all the light wirring, all work now, and also gave her a major tune up today and she sounds healthy now.. what muffler do you guys recommend i run?? a as previous owner ran her without a cat and muffler, its cut off at the header.... i want something with a nice deep tone but not over doing it either..

The bottom of my muffler was completely

Rusted out so I bought one from autozone that was oem replacement pretty cheap

Hello all I'm new to the Forum and wow there are some nice looking trucks out there. Here are a few pics of my 1982. Still a work in progress. Need a new hood and repainted. Tires are about done so I think I am going to go with something a little more aggressive, maybe some 33's and thicker treads.
