Some beautiful looking trucks in this thread and some of the cleanest first gen's I've ever seen.
This is my 1982 Dual Cab LN46 Hilux. All the way from Australia.
I've got a better write up in my build up thread for those who are interested.

huntin season is almost here... so i pulled the ole 80 out from the back yard where its been for about 6 months after the cab swap. put a hot battery in it and with 3 pats of the skinny pedal it fired on up and ive been driving it to work the last few days. this morning swapped on the 12" wheels. What you fellers think?

81 4x4 bought it brought it home like this, 107k original miles, 5 speed 22r, no modifications done.
Couple silly things puzzled me, a variable speed wiper control by the driver side and don't know where the clock/timer
on the center of the dash came from.
Original interior it no cracks in the dash.

Across from Mel Cottons in SJ
I wish I would have bought it. Damn thing drove great. The Variable speed wiper motor I think was some sort of aftermarket thing. Pretty cool!

Allright, after a few weeks of browsing through everyone else's rigs I am finally getting around to posting mine.
I've always loved the looks of the first gens so I sold my 98 tacoma and bought this 1979 shortbed, has aftermarket headers and a 4 inch lift, other than that it's stock, bought a tube bumper for the front to match the rear and am going to remove the visor, the cab is leaking, it comes out from under the dash but I feel that the visor is the most likely culprit. Other than an occasional starting gremlin I'll figure out soon it runs great.
