Toyota Stout, FJ45, looks like an FJ40 in there too...

Who are you and where are you getting all these cool, rare Toyotas?

Lots of good looking trucks on here, so I decided to post mine. Here is the '81 SR5 I'm restoring the day I pulled it out of the garage last year. It has 104,000 original miles and the best thing is I got it for free One of these days I'm going to sit down long enough to start a build thread on here

How hard was it to change the frame? I just got a 66 Stout myself and want to update the running gear. I was thinking about a small block also.

Well hows the frame? I looked into a V8 but it was super tight.V8 auto maybe(no foot room).
Frame swap all depends on your skills.I set the cab to the front wheels, closed the gap between the cab/bed,then moved the rear axle back, O plus I moved the motor/trans back and still had to cut the firewall.
The truck is shorter than the 93 that I took the frame from but the wheel base is a bit longer.
(about a inch and a quarter)

poor little guys in the shop right now timing chain crapped out. but when i first got it it had about 14 inches of lift i took a 6 inch homemade body lift off. next thing on my list is rims and tires, i need to have alot of body work done it was rolled before i got it, theres about half an inch of bondo on the cab, then i plan on painting it.
