Talking My "new" 79

Hey guys. Its a 79' compete with a 22r/20r hybrid. 4 speed(for now). I bought it 2 months ago for $350. No rust SoCal special. Woo hoo. Didn't run, but a few wiring demons fixed and a new battery got it going decent.
The day I brought it home.

Great deal – and you got to work on it quick! I've been wanting to pull my engine and clean it up/rebuild it for 6 months.

haha Yea. I was there 2 weekends ago grabbing some smog stuff and a set of aluminum rocker arms. No 4x4 stuff there when I was. Im still hoping to score an E-locker someday. I had heard the on off the 60 and Pyrite has a better selection for trucks...haven't had a chance to check it out yet. Good luck hunting!

Its a 22r block with a 20r head. The 20R head had a better flow. If its worth it, I really can't say because it came with it like that. I would assume that is so many people do it, it must be.
