dang... sorry, been off the thread for a little while caught up in life (which includes the truck naturally). Anyhow, all these new finds over the past few threads are sweet! Keep'em comin'!

My new ride! Its an 80 with a 22R and 5 speed. Weber carb and not much else. Has some rust with a terrible patch job on the front passenger fender but got a replacement. Also came with a spare hood to replace the one on it with hail dents. Will have some more pics later..
Right before some new shoes..

What size are those? They fit well. I had a set of them on my Chevy Napco and wore them out in about 20,000 miles. I mostly drive on gravel logging roads hauling loads, and the rock chunked out the rubber. It looked wierd. Good traction though. Now I get all my firewood off my own place, so my tires will probably last a lot longer.

its not an original 22ret, it was built, its a pretty clean 1rst gen, i got rear ended in my 85 and they gave me 2800 bucks, seen that thing on craigslist, for 2500 and jumped on it, the guy didnt know anything about it he bought it and went in the army, got out and didnt want it no more, then i had it on craigslist up for trades and some guy msged me tellin me that the motor is built, bored 30 over, 7:1 compression ratio, turbo pistions, turbo injectors, top mount turbo header, he sent pics to prove it all, i love this thing to death but its having fuel problems right now, it starts and has a crappy idle, but as soon as i touch the gas it cuts out and bogs and if i hold the throttle long enough it dies? any ideas?

I saw your thread on wondering where the relay was at, was thinking your rig is the hardest to get help on just because it has been altered so much it's a free for all really on how the PO customized to his likings, all I could suggest is get back on your other thread and keep asking, keep looking keep asking, it will get figured out eventually
Sweet looking rig though!! how about some motor pics of the turbo set up??

Here ye here ye! A 1981 Trekker went across the block at the Mecum auction in Chicago! The bid got up to $13,500 but it didn't sell. Check this thing out (of course I took pictures of the TV), it's really well done:
I got all kinds of excited and my wife ran down to the basement to see what the fuss was all about and I was like "LOOK! It's a Trekker on Mecum!!" She shook her head said, "oh lord..." and went back upstairs. LOL

That is a mighty fine trekker, wish I had one. I call B.S. on the 175HP 20R unless there's a LOT more going on with that engine than they listed. 50 shot of nos maybe.
