heater doesnt work right

the only place my heater gives hot air is from the defroster the r cold whats wrong with it help its cold out side lol thanks

Not sure what the 1st gen pickups are like, but check underneath the dash and see if all the ducts are in place.

is the heat from the defroster good? and do you get air out of your dash vents? id check the linkage. that might be your problem

The defroster works OK, and I do get air out of the vents, but it doesn't get warm.

My Trekker is in the same boat...Defroster is awesome...not looking forward to pulling the dash apart to check out the linkage...
