1983 Pickup, replaced the exhaust manifold gasket and can't figure out where these go:



Everything looks like it is covered on the exhaust and i'm pretty sure these should not "overlap"...anyways any help appreciated.

 

Kinda looks like EGR tube gaskets that go on top the exhaust manifold

 

EGR tubes are taken care of already...(2x of these) they have three holes, two for the bolts and one for the gases.

 

I have seen some manifolds that are different then the 83, i wonder if these are just for those? (ie 84+)

Makes sense.... As far as I recall pair was used from 84 on so I should be good!
