drivability issue

Hey guys i just got an 82 with a 22r i have put a clutch , brake master cylinder and right caliper on and finally got to drive it today but when i got to 4th and got to about 55 mph it started sputtering, like it wasnt getting fuel, the person i bought the truck from put a carb on it but it doesnt look stock any ideas or has anyone ran into this, any suggestions or ideas would be awsome thanks

well found that the fuel filter was clogged pressy bad, replaced it and no it runs good no more problems, i was thinking of converting to EFI i got a guy that has EFI setup wiring harness and distributor, but no real sure of how difficult it is to set up any help on this or other threads where someone has pictures and details would be awsome

it's pretty involved, dunno what all but I know i wouldn't try it, just get your truck running well and you won't care it's not efi
