Cool Aussie First Gen Conversion
Kind of Funky but also cool, a little too 80's Van'ish interior for me though

This was originally a 1980 Toyota tray back. Professionally modified to a barn door Panel Van Completely rebuilt & Customised in 2007 from the ground up...comprising of:-windows & side door to back of van,fitted with a new Holden 202 red motor...done 9000ks
All moving parts have either been replaced with new factory, or factory rebuilt units... custom modified suspension, giving an extra 60mm lift..
chassis has been rustproofed throughout, & fish emulation every year since.
Larger extra core radiator.. 202 motor fitted with, extractors & a Webber twin barrel carby for performance & economy...
long range fuel tanks (140lts).. heavy duty brakes.. Bridgestone D/Duellers (85%) on steel rims..
Onboard compressor.. new battery with electronic conditioner.. Roo Bar... side & back steps...high powered driving & spot lights.. air horns... Custom built Roofrack (2.5 mts long) with ladder...
Custom interior with wool insulation in roof & side panels..Floor Pan & Firewall insulated & all Rustproofed... New carpet & trim
All electrics "incl harness" replaced.. Pioneer sound system with amp, sub woofer, rear & front speakers, & remote control.. CB radio..
alarm & auto door locks ..
Ford falcon bucket seats with custom sheepskin covers.. Toyota sports steering wheel.. on dash & overhead gauges.. Gell cell battery & inverter running rear interior lights & power... fire extinguisher..
This unit is ready to travel anywhere.. comes complete with specialised number plates, specialised tools (wheel nut remover/hub lifter/bottle jack/air hose & gauge/recovery gear/high lift jack bolted to back step)
2 x spare tyres.. Engineers certificate..
Also comes with "Touchup paint - spare motor - gearbox- transfer case - drive shaft" etc; (if required)
This "1 of a kind" unique vehicle is beautiful to drive, very comfortable in all terrains,
Had $30,000. spent on it..valued at $25,000.by the RAC,
Asking $10,000.00..
I would love to have the ambulance style doors to install on my Trekker

Kinda puzzled over the 202, the seller's page had it listed as a 2-liter I4, and that seemed like an odd swap.
Did a little snooping, and found that it's actually an I6, and comes in 2 flavors: 2.84 and 3.3 liters. I'm not sure which the builder went for, but either would be a sensible upgrade in lieu of the 22R. A little extra power, but still really economical. Neat build.
I agree with Dropzone's assessment of the interior, though.
