Hey all.. i am still a noob and am trying to learn how to diagnose and work on things myself... so here is my newest problem. when i depress my clutch pedal it clicks. it does it weather the truck is running or not. I had my wife depress it while I tried to find the sound. It sounds like it is in the bellhousing. Any ideas??

 

What kind of click? I think a small noise is normal... I would check out the slave cylinder, it is mounted on the trans. bellhousing. I replaced mine for $12 from napa. How does the clutch function? Do you have any reason to suspect an issue other than the click?
