I have both of my axles completely stripped down. I plan on using IFS calipers on the front with vented rotors. Among the parts that came off, which ones can I toss, (backing plate, hub, spindle)?

 

as far as i know u just replace the rotors and calipers. keep the backing plate or replace it with the trail gear backing plate eliminator kit. u need something there as a spacer to keep everything happy.
so toss the old rotors and calipers keep everything else.

 

Are you doing the IFS hub swap?

IFS vented rotors will NOT work on a SFA axle. You need the SFA vented rotors like on a Land Cruiser.
You can use the IFS calipers but the bigger ones are off a V6 IFS. We have those too.

IMO keep it all as you never know what you might want or need in the future.

 

Will the IFS hub fit on the SA spindle? What about wheel bearings?
