81 clutch replacment
so my friend has an 81 pickup 4x4 with a 21r in it and we are replacing the clutch and rad tomorrow and i want to know is there anything special to look out for while doing these? i have done a few clutches on second gen pickups so i have a pretty good idea on how to do it, but is there anything special i need to know?

With clutches prolly machine the flywheel. Check rear main seal while you in there, if you have any thought it MAY leak, replace it. You'll thank yourself later.
Radiator- Be sure to park the truck on a fairly steep hill with the front up and run it for 5-10 minutes after installing the new radiator to "burp" the system. I have done it both on level ground and uphill, and I find the uphill works much better. Kind of optional, but I'd recommend it.
Hope this helps!
