Depending on your area, I have seen some reasonably prices ones on craigslist..
But you sure couldn't go wrong with one from http://www.engnbldr.com/

Rebuild it yourself, then you'll know that it was (or wasn't) done correctly. There are quite a bit of members out there blowing their rebuilt engine that they bought and dropped in from well known and respected companies. Do it yourself, it doesn't take that much time. Simply disassemble it and take it to the machine shop. They can do anything from the machine work only up to completely rebuilding it for you.

Yea im going to use the block i have. Now i just need to decide on whether i want to assemble the short block after all the machine work, or just have the machine shop assemble it for me. Im in louisiana and the city i live in there is 1 machine shop, and i do not trust them new enough to let them assemble it. I know i can do it, but theres always that thought that i will mess somthing up and have to re-do it. There is a machine shop in arkansas(about 2 hours from me) that has an awesome reputation, they want "around" 250 to assemble the short block. These guys know their stuff though.
There wont be a better feeling for me if i was to assemble it and everything go good and last a long time, but i know theres a lot of little things ,here and there, that only an experienced eye will catch.
