1983 Pickup Original Documents
Here are a few original documents I still have with my truck. I have the window sticker (which i personally think is really cool and kinda want to frame it), the fuel economy rating, and the chassis lubrication paper which stays in a clear sleeve on the driver side sun visor (factory that way). Thought they were kinda cool and wanted to share them. Oh I also still have the owner's manual as well but to many pages to scan.

I'm in cordova now. I found this one place (where I got stuck in my profile pic) I know a lot of people go there but I'm not sure if it's legal. Its off 64 going towards you I'm not 100% on the name of the rd but I'm pretty sure it's the road after Houston levee. starts with an F. I thought that I read that a couple of people got stabbed down at the bottoms a few months ago. I guess you could say that about a lot of places here. Other than that I haven't been anywhere. I do know a guy that has access to private land off Macon towards collierville. I havent been with him yet

thats cool .. I have seen some different ones for this vintage .. I have some window documents for my trekker i'm reproducing specifically for "show" . seems they may be a little different for different sections of North America .
I would sure like to see some other examples if any one has any ?

Suncomb, I only live 30 minutes away from OC. I'm a parasail captain for my friend's watersports business during the summer so I'm basically down there every weekend all summer long. If you're looking for old Toyotas, you come to the wrong place. LOL I've lived here all my life and I only know of 2 first gen pickups... one is mine and there's a white 82' long bed running around here somewhere.
Send me a PM the next time you come down here and we'll meet up. I'd love to take a closer look at your truck that I occassionally catch myself drooling over. I'm going to start a full restore on mine it the spring and I'm like to steal some of your ideas.

That's QUITE a bit higher than it was in 1983 where I live. The highest it ever really got in the 80's around here was ~99¢. In 83 it was more like ~85¢. Shoot...$1.65 still sounds spendy to me. It was ~$1.15 when I started driving. I'm old
