1991 4Runner, Long Travel, 3.4L Swap

SOLD

Life changes so I need to sell my baby; a 1991 Toyota 4runner with a 3.4L swap and long travel suspension. It is 4wd/ 4x4 offroad machine! Crawls great and does high speed too, although I've only used it 3-4 times in the last 5 years which is why I'm selling. Here's what it has.

It is in good condition, but is not currently drivable because the Doug Thorley exhaust crossover pipe needs to be installed and because that's where the O2 sensor goes, it is burning super rich and is hard to start.

Asking $6500 or Best Offer

You can read the build thread for ALL the details, or see the partial list below

did you recently put the headers in? So I guess it's running rich because you don't have one of the O2s in? do you have the correct O2 down stream of the CAT (and if it's an aftermarket cat do you have the URD Sensor Simulator?)

Headers were the most recent thing I installed, and I have not yet put the crossover pipe in, so missing O2 is definitely the reason it is burning rich.

It sat long enough last year to clear the ECU and that when I turned it over cold it ran great for the 2 mile trip from my dad's warehouse back to my house last month, even with open headers.

But about the time I got there the ECU had started changing program from stoichiometric, and it was burning rich again.

There is no cat and no downstream O2 sensor currently installed. Which is not a problem for the engine to run well, but would be an issue if you have to pass SMOG or other strict emisions. Surprisingly it is not an issue here in San Antonio, and I had it inspected and street legal with this setup.
