I wasn't there but I know of the guy in the H1, his name is Rick (a "legend" of sorts in the forest). I'm pretty confident Rick was winching Lance, not the other way around. Rick was on 3N93(Holcomb Creek trail0 that day moving a LARGE boulder off the trail.

Now, I'm glad I didn't go on John Bull. Forget rock rash, I don't want Mikey rash. hahaha. Why'd ya go and spot Marlin into your truck?
Alright, enough pickin on Mikey for me. Sorry I took off so early, I would have liked to hung out with all the new people. We couldn't hit John Bull, because my buddy had open diffs and no rock armor. I didn't want to sit around or take an easy trail and our girlfriends had had enough. So, we hit the road.
Gold Mountain was fun, I'd like to check out the rest of the trails next time.
Hooray for Toyotas.

Thanks to Lance and Bruce for the great spotting and getting me through some of the tougher spots on the Bull and Holcomb Creek! :bigclap:
I came up to hang with the TTORA group, and had a few people to meet with up there. But as things turned out, Mark (Expat) is one of the people that I had planned to meet up with. And it worked out great! You guys rocked up there!
Anyway, Here's a few hundred pictures!!!!
And here's some more pictures from my other camera!!!

We were pretty much done then anyway. Milkshakes after that to help ease the pain/screaming/crying
There was also a guy using a couple of tennis balls as bobbers that almost caught my daughter while he was trying to cast his line. Thanks to Andy for looking out and setting him straight.
