What size bushings for 4Runner sway bar end links.
Well SOB if it didn't happen again, The aftermarket crap you get from the auto parts store comes with inadequate bushings or rubber pucks for their end links. I asked my local 4X shop what energy suspension or daystar offered and she said they offer17,19,20,22,23,25, and 27mm bushings. My question is which ones will do me. I do not remove my end links when wheeling as there is nor real gain for me.

Not sure on the measured size, but they're the bigger of the two bushing sets that come in the Moog box from Advance autoparts. The pucks fit nicely inside the dimple of the washers. the other set in the box was way too small.

The generic ES bushing which noahrexion is talking about is the energy suspension kit which is a poly bushing.

Your 4x4 shop was giving you size options for the actual sway bar bushings.

Maybe I lost myself or the readers somewhere. The bushings in the end links are too small. Why you ask? Because they keep getting destroyed, whether mechanical action or some unknown force. They go from full size which is still a bit smaller than the washers in the sandwich to about 1/2 that size because they literally get smashed to death and stop performing appropriately (a bit of loose play develops in the suspension similar to if the end links were removed all together). I know the OE pucks or bushing to be bigger in the end links than the replacement ones, whether this is because the parts #'s go nuts and cross 2wd and 4wd I have no idea but they are smaller and there fore work less and for shorter life span.

Definitely lost us, at least me, somewhere.
I am thinking you are talking about the swaybar endlink (only the endlink) bushings.
I assume you are saying that the OE replacement aftermarket bushings that come with replacement endlinks are being destroyed, so you want the polyurethane replacements?
And the part numbers +ID size for the bushings from Energy suspension was given to you...So you should be good.
In your original post you mentioned the sizes of 17-27mm bushings. These sizes would be for the swaybar mounts to the frame in the front and axle in the rear, and nothing to do with your endlinks.
Am I missing something?

Nope your dead on, for some reason I didn't think that 27mm would be to big for an end link, but come to think of it it wouldn't be to big. If 25.4mm = 1" than a 1" OD bushing would be the right size. I specifically asked for end link bushings when I called so I'll have to do some more work and get back to replacing them.

1 inch endlink bushing? Endlink bushing does not equal swaybar bushing.
The ID of the 27mm swaybar bushing (front) is 27mm which is a D-shaped bushing.
The ID of the endlink bushing is 3/8 and is donut looking.

You want the swaybar endlink bushings. This connects the swaybar to outer most points. In the front, each endlink will have 2 bushings on each side. In the pic below, the endlink bushings which are black that are on the endlinks are the 3/8 ID. The red bushings in the middle (swaybar bushings) have the ID of 27mm and are D shaped.
