Rear Spoiler/Fin Removal Question

I like the clean look of the 3rd gens without the rear spoiler/fin, but on my 1999, maybe its on all 1999's, it has these ugly screws. I am not sure what my options are other than paint them black? Put the spoiler/fin back on? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Doug

If you want to keep the spoiler off then find some of those rounded flat head bolts and paint them black and screw them in. You could just paint those inserts black but it would be best to put a bolt in there to seal it up.

Just posted the same on another forum, but the rear air diffuser is pretty useful. I had a Jeep GC w/o this rear wing, and the rear got pretty grimey with dirt, snow, etc. The wing directs the air downwards to keep the grime off of the rear window. The window still gets dirty, but not as quick.

I'd leave it on.
