Teuf's SAS thread 88 toyota PU 22r-e

Hey Teuf,
You could have told us you were just dropping your truck off at Ace because you had a project you were working on and needed a lot of bolts!
It was just easier to have the truck there so you don't have to remember the sizes!
In all seriousness though, I hope you figure out your problem.
I have actually not read through your thread yet. Time to start reading...

Ok a long story short. For 5-6 years I have seen this 4runner around the corner from me, always covered on the inside and never driven as far and I could see. The other day I am walking a dog and ask person I assume owns the truck is it for sale. Anyway the woman owner wants to sell it. O happy day.......1985 EFI 22re, solid axle. I'll get to drive n check it out next weekend. YES.

Oh happy day, I test drove the 4runner, and EVERTHING WORKS. Again its an 85 EFI 22RE solid axle. SR5. All the doo dads, power this n that. All stock. The woman mentioned the she and her husband watched it come off the dock in Benica Ca. in 84. He used it for fishing and stuff. Anyway he passed and its sort of sat around. She drove it here n there. Plus she got it smoged today and alls good for registration in this goofball state. I'll update you all on its TLC introduction.

And I drove my 88 down to look at the 4runner and I had no restart issues. I guess the Open Circuit Relay I replaced was the problem. ( was a pain to change out). And no leaks that I can see after the front main seal change.
