95 4Runner Distributor Cap Issue

95 4Runner Distributor Cap Issue
Good Day Everyone,
Before I get started, I read through the other posts and I couldn't find anything close to my problem. I am having an issue with my 95 4Runner, V6, 3.0L 4X4. I replaced my distributor cap last summer as my truck was sputtering and shaking when I was driving. It fixed the problem. The same thing started happening again recently so 2 days ago I replaced the distributor cap and rotor button again (product bought from NAPA). My truck ran great for about half a day and then started shaking and sputtering again. So last night I took off my distributor cap and I noticed that the contacts where wires #1 & #6 enter the distributor cap are worn flat already. I have no clue what to do to fix this. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Recently I have had the following done;
All new spark plugs
All new wires
New fuel filter
New air filter
Had the codes checked and there are no codes
Cheers,
Peter

You got a bad cap
Or did not have it on flat.
If the rotor was defective or the wrong one it would have been more uniform wear or not run at all
Try a new cap and see what happens:wabbit2: Take your damaged one back it can`t hurt could be a whole bunch messed up.
