This 1965 is the Oldest Toyota Land Cruiser We Found For Sale
This baby has been pretty extensively modified, as in place of the original straight-six engine, there’s a brand-new 350 small block from Chevrolet. Strangely, there are no pictures of the V8 in the listing, and no details about the conversion. In one of the pictures, you can see that the hood is up, which makes us think the owner just spaced posting the under-hood shots.
From what we’ve seen on the market, swapping a 350 into these rigs was a popular choice, much like it was with Jaguars of the 1970s and 1980s. And given the clean nature of this build, we’d bet it was done to a high standard. That said, we’re still curious about the bits that went into the transplant.
