Five Toyota Truck Instagram Accounts You Should Follow

Being stuck at home means it’s a perfect time to live vicariously through overlanders on Instagram.

Now, we realize that this is a bold statement. But at some point? The world is going to stop sucking so ferociously hard, and we’ll be able to get back to the adventures which make the daily grind worth it. Until then, there are loads of Instagram accounts which show everything that’s possible when you’ve got a go-anywhere Toyota truck and the proper motivation. So if you’re looking for a cheat sheet about where to find inspiration for your next off-road adventure, look no further.

In the interest of full disclosure, we should note that we snagged the lead image for this post from the Toyota media site. Because we needed a shot that wasn’t a perfect square, as squares make the blog unhappy. What can we say? We’re suckers for presentation. With that out of the way, we can say that while they’re great, the professional media shots on Toyota’s page pale in comparison to the stuff enthusiasts are getting out in the field. So take a look at the accounts we’ve called out below, and feel free to suggest ones we missed on the forum. We know the Instagram rabbit hole is mighty deep!

Yup, this handle sounds a lot like a great field-to-table dish. But wild_hog_taco is all about showing off the build of a burly Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. You can check out the full list of mods which have been done to this rig on the Gear Project page, and if you’re anything like us, it’ll make you jealous. We particularly did the Predator front bumper, and think the khaki exterior paint make all the black aftermarket bits pop beautifully. This is a newer account compared to some of the others on this list, and we can’t wait to see where it goes from here.
