Great News: Toyota to Get Back on Track Beginning May 4

Official reopening to gradually resume at North American manufacturing facilities. 

Things seem to be getting better in some areas of the world as we continue learning how to rethink how we live because of the coronavirus pandemic. Proof comes in the form of a newly released official confirmation from Toyota that the iconic automaker is ready to start up production again soon.

Beginning the week of May 4, Toyota intends to gradually resume its North American manufacturing operations in compliance with federal health and safety guidelines, and local and state ordinances.

‘We will continue to follow all safety guidelines and monitor vehicle demand as we carefully ramp up production.’

“The health and safety of our employees and stakeholders remain a top priority and we have implemented new protocols at all of our North American manufacturing plants to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19,” says Toyota in a press statement. “We will continue to follow all safety guidelines and monitor vehicle demand as we carefully ramp up production.”

This is great news, of course. And we are looking forward to seeing those new Toyota trucks rolling out soon.
