Some are beautiful looking builds, some we honestly don’t even understand.

If you are like us, you have spent some time on the r/ToyotaTacoma subreddit. Having over 25,000 members, it is far from a small reddit community. Outside of the usual Taco-related memes and jokes, we do see some really nice looking trucks on reddit. Today, we bring you our top 10 favorite trucks or posts (in no particular order) that we have seen in recent time on the subreddit.

1.

Based in Colorado or the surrounding states and want to meet up to go on some trails with other Taco owners? This is your golden opportunity. The post implies its not meant to be anything too crazy, but still fun enough that a stock truck can make it up without issue. Considering that this was only posted a couple days ago and it has over 100+ comments, you can best believe this meet up is going down!

2.

This post comes all the way from the far-reaching Canadian province of Nova Scotia where the member is seemingly having a wonderful lakeside camp at Cape Breton Island. We are sad that we have never heard of this area before because it looks absolutely serene. Also, anybody have any idea what brand that tent setup is? Looks amazing.

3.

Considering a second-gen, local to Southern California and looking for something that is already built out? Look no further than this post for sale for this 2011 TRD Sport. This truck features a host of goodies, almost too long to list. We especially enjoy those retrofitted projector headlights with sectioned angel eyes. That is definitely a nice touch.

4.

First-gens are not as common as a sight as we wish they were, even less so ones that are built for some serious off-roading. We love classic Toyotas and we are happy to see that this owner is definitely treating his truck right.

5.

Know anything about this truck and want to help this poor soul plan out his next build? Help him out in the comments. Our opinion is at least a couple grand on the suspension, a couple more on wheels and tires, and who knows how much on everything else.

6.

Nothing like taking the Tacoma down to the lake for some kayaking. This owner’s setup looks a little bit more legit that the OEM roof rack and after looking through the comments that is the case. He is running an aftermarket rack rated from 150 lb with aftermarket J hooks and loading rails. Long story short, that’s almost a grand in parts just to get the kayaks secured. Worth it? We think so.

7.

This is the nicest truck out of all these posts by far. According to the owner, he has spend over 3 years building it to its current state. With over 40 comments, you can see this Tacoma was definitely a big hit within the community. We understand why.

8.

We have no idea where this Tacoma is, but by judging how it looks, we wish were there instead of where we are. Most definitely a National park? If you do know, please let us know in the comments below.

9.

Looks like somebody was getting some professional shooting done with their Tacoma. The Inferno Orange paint definitely stands out so we understand why its getting all the attention.

This last one was a funny one which was crossposted onto the subreddit. It seems that somebody decided to build the entire bed and rear of the truck out of unfinished wood panels? We aren’t sure whether to be disappointed or impressed. Supposedly it was purchased for $1,500 from Facebook. Was it worth it? You guys can be the judge of that one.
