Colt Ford & Tyler Farr Release Hysterical Truck Anthem
Country star drops new single and Step Brothers-themed video that all truck owners will appreciate.
Country star Colt Ford has always been vocal about his love of trucks, but maybe never more so than in his latest song “My Truck.” Ford teams up with Tyler Farr in a tribute to the comedy classic Step Brothers in a video that is hilarious. It perfectly complements the single, which is a funny-as-hell bragfest about how awesome and badass their truck is.
“I just thought it was time for a really funny video and I knew Tyler would be on board with this idea,” Ford tells Fox News. “Tyler has been one of my best friends in this business for a long time, so it was really easy for us to act silly and be a little nuts–that’s how we always act.”
They do their own version of country Step Brothers, complete with some truly laugh-out-loud dialogue. “My Truck,” the latest single from Ford’s album Love Hope Faith, is a song full of awesome lines. We thought this was an especially savage verse.
“My truck, is supercharged and got Fosgate.
Your truck, has an enlarged prostate.
My truck, goes ‘roar’ like a lion.
Your truck, is like a little baby crying.
My truck, gets comp in Vegas.
Your truck, gets minimum wages.
My truck, is on its way to platinum.
Your truck, is like, ‘What the hell just happened?'”
The song can be summed up perfectly by a line from Step Brothers: “You have the voice of an angel. Your voice is like a combination of Fergie and Jesus.”
