need trans help quick
I'm getting a code 62 from the trans which is a no1 solenoid. How ugly is this going to be, and can I do it myself? Does anyone have pics and procedure on this? Thanks in advance.

I am pretty sure that the second gen uses some model of the a340x transmission, but to be sure you can check your door jamb for your transmission code to be sure.
On the a340f model in the 3rd gen the 3 shift solenoids are accesible just be dropping the oil pan and removing the screen, which is not difficult. So if your transmission is similar to mine it's not hard to replace the solenoid. Here is a picture of the solenoids from a write up Mark in AZ did for the VB mod.
