For the last 3 years, I have had body armor so to speak, and it has work EXTREEMLY well. Trips to the con, and local nutty stuff. And its basically 2x3 welded to the cab at the rockers.. So, to mount the cab FIRMLY to the frame, I ran stringers.

That's going rock. I just had a dream last night about redoing a 81 from the ground up, but that puts it to shame. Can't wait for more pics.

Geez, why didn't you start from scratch and make a buggy? There's only about 10% of the truck left.

On a serious note, will you be adding some triangulation to the cage?

The cage is NO where near done, I ran outa tube (dom). Plus, I am still figuring out where I want what, so that will effect what goes where, crap, I confused myself,lol...

As for buildin a whole new rig, well, I have owned the rig since 91, and if you ask me, a buggy has no character, this does... Plus, I am trying new things that I haven't seen done yet...

Yes, that is a pro-rock 60, with the links/coilovers, I was afraid I would break the toy rear again, so, I fixed that.....

VERY NICE!

Those are some real purty welds you got there. (Deliverance theme plays in the background.)

Nice work, man.

thats quite possibly the most amazing thing i have seen. all the fabrication and such. after i built my rear bumper, although crappy, it made me appreciate it more.

anyway, how long has that taken you to get that far...or did i completely miss something?
