RE: my 2nd gen 4Runner. Other than routine maintenance, head gaskets, water pump, timing belt, clutch, alternator, springs & shocks were replaced. I know its still running, because I see it driving around (current owner lives near my office) I don't know how many miles it has now. I sold it in 2001 when I bought my Tundra.
