    I was told I cannot tow my 4Runner (2WD).

    Hi Steve,

Saw and joined the yotatech website for info and learning. Current issue is loss of reverse after fixing 2nd and overdrive!

Have truck for 6 months now, 250K miles, lost 2nd and overdrive, noticed common issue resolved by changing solenoids. I changed solenoids (2 shift and the lockup), and ALL forward gears work better than ever. HOWEVER, I lost reverse after completing work even though it had worked perfectly before I began.

If I "rev up" the engine with trans in reverse, I find it will roll slightly backward. My guess is that it's a pressure issue, but I don't know what to look for. Any ideas??

You can email me here if you get the opportunity, I appreciate your help.

    Thanx,
    Ken Jenkins

Hey Steve, Will here. What header options do I have for my 92 6 cyl 4-runner?
Looking for a bit more power, but am also interested if there are any 'tricks' to make it run efficient too! Thank you Sir, WP

I've been a member for some time having had various Toyotas for years but haven't been an active member as they're a pretty reliable vehicle. I recently aquired an 01 4 runner and whacked the power heated mirror. What years are compatable?
