Hey!
I am not really a member of this site, but I was searching some info about how to deal with rust.
I have a 1990 4 runner that I bought in Vancouver this past spring. I am currently in Nova Scotia and was just unable to pass the NS saftey inspection because of rust. I want to fix it properly as to not have it spread anymore. It is both rear wheel wells and up onto the quarter panels, I also need a new bumper.
I am wondering what advice you can offer? I am very new to vehicle mechanics and have a couple friends who are welders and willing to help. Would you recommend this fibreglass instead of replacement panels?
If you could offer me any advice, and be as straight forward as possible ( I'm new! haha ) anyway, it would be greatly appreciated!
I want to keep this truck as long as possible, it is such a solid truck!
